A Glimpse of a Recent Custom Creation:
This particular customer submitted his own Greek Hoplite Design. This historical design was also used as the Sword of Themistocles in the movie 300. Turned out nice! We will probably add it to the website in the near future. Historically, this leaf shaped blade was the principal weapons of a hoplite infantryman.
THIS WEEK’S FEATURED DURABILITY VIDEO: Tactical Gladius Extreme Durability Tests - Fully functional tactical version of the ancient Roman Gladius Sword. Based on the straight bladed Pompeii Gladius. Extremely versatile and durable. Flash through video of the sword, and see demonstrations slicing, thrusting, and chopping through jugs, trash cans, lumber, a metal pole. Even against Solid Granite it didn’t break! This blade is almost indestructible! Tests completed by Professional Reviewer Jason Woodard.
SBG FEATURED BLADE OF THE WEEK: Doomsday #1 - Badland Katana
An SBG Exclusive hand made from start to finish by Scorpion Swords & Knives. This sword #1 is part of a collaboration with SBG and Esteemed Sword Tester & Designer Jason Woodard (Doomsday Line). Designed by Jason Woodard, who has completed many successful designs, even designing the sword in the movie Sleepy Hollow. This powerful two handed war sword is a tough almost indestructible versatile design, with a balance close to the hilt, generating tremendous cutting power, with the ability to seriously damage any other standard blade that gets in its way.

Shop Details:
1095 High Carbon Steel. Steel is Heat Hardened & quenched in brine. Heat Tempered @ 500 degrees for 2 hours, and letting it air cool.
