Off-Topic Non knife related projects

all looks good,

leak is stopped, I think, I believe we were getting some condensation on the copper lines as well because I found a slight leak on the float gadget in the bathroom toilet, also noticed some bad corrosion on the pipe that feed the shower head so I've ended up with 3 projects to do before I re-drywall up the new hole in my wall (nice) it'll all get done soon...that's the plan anyway. Going to the hardware store on Wednesday to find a new shower joint and tap and drain box but I'm replacing the toilet gadget tonight.

IMG_3113.JPG It's not complete yet but I've been working on getting away from all the crowds at the local gyms. Got the mirror up, the rack built, and I've got a few hundred pounds of used plates to get started. There's a 100 pound heavy bag back there behind my motorcycle that needs to get hung up soon.

Nice setup! I had a home gym and some free weights years ago, but they were taking up too much space in the bsmt., so I got rid of them. I do miss that setup every now and then.

Made some more progress on the wall last weekend. Got the block in front for the steps placed and anchored. Did a little more on the tiered wingouts. I'll be working on the paver section at the bottom this weekend.

It's getting there! I have a few more things I'd like, but it's functional for now.
Your project is really coming along well. The way you're going it looks like that could withstand anything Mother Nature could throw at it!

Wehammeredd togetehr the stand and frame in theole workshed the other night, made from the partial remains of a shipping crate as a matter of fact ;)

That looks great, Peter! Nice re-purposing of materials.

Nice to see some projects on this thread again. I just finished my Hoover Dam project last weekend. I won't be doing any landscaping or planting until next year, but for all intents and purposes, the wall is done...

[/QUOTE]Really nice work Glenn. That'll look great when the planting is done.
I am envious of your screened porch btw.

Wow guys, both of your projects are looking very good! All I’ve managed to do is mow the lawn and hook up a computer. Keep up the good work!

Thanks guys. Mykel, I do enjoy the screen porch also. That porch I built from scratch not too long after the house was built. I actually made the screens for it afterward, as my mother-in-law used to like to sit out there, but didn't like the bugs. (We live pretty much on wetlands, so lots of mosquitoes) She's been gone for quite a few years now, but we do enjoy sitting out there in the summer. Right around dusk, the bats come out for an all-you-can-eat bug buffet, it's neat to watch them bombing around the yard. I also have a hammock that gets set up on the porch, but the wife always lays claim to that, LOL.
