I know this might be blasphemy but are there any other models that you can get non-waved? I know the CQC7 but are there others or will Emerson remove it if requested.

The Persian is wave-free. There was a no-wave Horseman at one point, the "headless horseman."

Early CQC-8's were non-wave and every once in a while they reissue.

The A100 is non-waved and there is a version of the CQC7 that doesn’t have a wave. I ordered Mini-CQC7 and had it sent directly to Josh at REK Knives REK Knives who removed the wave replacing it with jimping that was flush with the spine and not a ramp like the non-waved CQC7 has. I’d post a picture but I only have a free account

There's also the Emerson CQC-9 The Eagle with a licensed spydie hole.... but good luck on finding one of those for sale :)

Quite a few more models these days don't include the wave, plus some that haven't been mentioned yet, but aren't new: Folding Steak Knife, Elvia, EX-100, CQC-17, Specwar, 25th anniversary Raven, and the Bullshark auto.

Plus the budget Hard Wear models, the Reliant and the Traveler.
