Now I have to buy a new knife.... :)

I just ordered a Ontario Hossum Retribution I, because I wanted a real big strong well made knife. I hope I stop buying knives for the rest of the year now.

For $185 I would get a Bradley Alias II just because I'm a big fan of the Sebenza. And I held one the other day.. they seem like they are well built.

It only took you a year to make up your mind? I don't know ... you shouldn't rush into things like that ...

No i purchased a long time ago and just never replied...i was going through some old email when i found this thread, figured it might still be valid for someone else...

I'd recommend the 710 D2 ... mainly 'cause it's the only one
I have on your list. Benefits are...
1) D2
2) Big blade, but really good EDC profile.
3) Axis lock
4) It has this solid can do anything feeling
5) Dual liners
6) Only 4.5 ounces yet a nice big knife
7) The blade geometry is great.
a) High flat grind... I guess a saber grind really.
b) A just right recurve (not too little, not too much)
c) Thin enough to be a good slicer, thick enough to tackle tough jobs.
d) Strong tip... looks to be stronger then some of the others you mentioned... but that's only by looking at them.
8) The G10 is exactly how I like it, not too abrasive and not too slippery.
9) Did I mention the Axis lock?
10) Ergos are my favorite out of all my knives.

Just my 0.02
