nylon over kydex

hi i am new here.

i saw a sheath the other day that looked like it was nylon over kydex.

is this a real deal or does anyone know what the game is here?

Some sheaths (such as the spec ops brand lineup) use a cordura/nylon frame that contains a kydex sleeve so that the blade doesnt damage the softer fabric material.
