The closest thing to pig sticking I did was with a .22LR to the head. I bet it would be a great feeling to chase one down and gut it like a.....pig :D
 
Awesome pics! Good looking pack you got there. Do yall make sausage or cure hams? We usually make sausage out of most of one, and smoke the ribs and a ham or two.
 
sausage sometimes mostly make smoke meat,or i use it like regular pork,our pigs dont have a strong gamey taste like mainland pigs i tasted.stews,stir fry,roast..
 
did alittle hunting scored a nice size 200# sow,got some young dogs,they worked hard got the job done ,got to use my new svord pig sticker it was nothing but awsome,,put some meat on the BBQ an had a few beers,,aloha

love that web site,i had a blackmouth cur but had to sell her,the price of the dog wasnt bad ,but our quarantine is strick an exspensive, the dog had to stay at the station for 6 months by the time i got her she was hard to train didnt want to hunt an couldnt give birth.i was bummed..we cross breed our dogs here with pit or bullbog an hound bloodline,jus got back snared another pig will put it on the spooky thread

Yep they have strict quarentine rule's, Sorry to here about your Blackmouth Cur, I'm trying to save the Money to get a Leopard Cur Female Pup that's from a Great Bloodline not to far from me In Iowa to add to my Pack, The Blackmouth Cur's and the Catahoula Cur's make some fine Hog Dawg's, But I still like my Kemmer Stock Mountain Cur's, This Hunter In Texas use's Kemmer Cur's on Hog's he has a Real Good Line, Look through his Site he has some Hunting picture's and Video's of his Kemmer Cur's In Action, Here's his Site http://www.freewebs.com/sandhillskemmercurs/index.htm

Very cool kalama. :thumbup: Hog hunting is still on my to do list, if I can ever find the time. Very nice pigsticker. I've heard good things about Svord brand blades. I agree with Ted, gotta get a bigger grill. :D I bet that would be mighty tasty slow cooked on a gas grill.
