I'm sure some of you know who that is. But if not, I made that meme. The oldest living WWII veteran, a 112 years old, gun totin' cigar smokin' whisky drinkin' stud:

Great story.

My friend's dad was a Platoon Sargent in WWII. He said every year men from his platoon would call him on his birthday. He said over the years the number got smaller and smaller until a couple years ago there was no one left to call him. He passed away this fall at 93. Still lived by himself, was as sharp as a tack and in better shape than most men half his age.
