YesAm I wrong to think that blaze-orange knives are a relatively new phenomenon? Like, that they’ve become really popular in the last year or two?
When I first started seeing them, I thought it would be a short-lived fad for sure. It’s now clear that I woefully misjudged the market. Orange knives seem to be here to stay.
I guess I understand the appeal to hunters, but I don’t get why anyone else would want one.
Am I completely alone on this? Anyone else a little baffled by the popularity of orange knives?
Indeed!!No
No
Probably not, but I'm not in agreement
No
The thread linked below is from 2018, a little more than "in the last year or two."
There was another that I believe became broken links because of the big picture hosting website that switched things up suddenly and wanted a lot of money for hosting. That one was from 2010.
Sounds like a 13 year fad... at least.
I’m hoping for an orange G10 Spyderco Military2 to be released in the not too distant future.
I’m definitely not fly enough to pull it off, that’s fer dang sure.I dig orange. You just gotta be fly enough to pull it off
I appreciate your grim, Soviet approach to knife colors.I frown at orange

Austerity and dark earth tones for me
That shade is more to my liking than most.Own just one orange knife. I like it. It had to be the right shade orange for me and this was.

I dig this color more than blaze orange, for sure. Nice.I don’t understand bright orange even for hunters knives. I like the burnt or subdued orange color though.
I feel the same about the knives with tritium glow vials in the scales. Why?
