I like my limited edition Spyderco Brad Southard CPM-S35VN Positron. It is an easy to carry pocketknife.

Am I wrong to think that blaze-orange knives are a relatively new phenomenon? Like, that they’ve become really popular in the last year or two?

When I first started seeing them, I thought it would be a short-lived fad for sure. It’s now clear that I woefully misjudged the market. Orange knives seem to be here to stay.

I guess I understand the appeal to hunters, but I don’t get why anyone else would want one.

Am I completely alone on this? Anyone else a little baffled by the popularity of orange knives?

There was another that I believe became broken links because of the big picture hosting website that switched things up suddenly and wanted a lot of money for hosting. That one was from 2010.

Answer to your question: You're wrong. It's not new. I like orange. Red, too, but orange here.

I've liked orange accented and gripped knives for a very long time, so whatever resurgence they're having now is just peachy for me.

So change the title of this thread to "Orange Knives!! "

I don’t understand bright orange even for hunters knives. I like the burnt or subdued orange color though.
I feel the same about the knives with tritium glow vials in the scales. Why?

I like orange scales, they make me happy. Here's 2 older Kershaws, a Zing and a 1080OR. Both US made, and both with orange G10.
