I had a lot of fun at the show today. It is always a good time, unfortunately I didn't get any pictures. Having my daughter with me at the show is all I can really manage at one time ;)

Rendezvous this year - coming all the way from NZ- next Knife show will be this one in a couple of years. 👍

Was a great show this year! I got to meet Mr Schempp and Mr and Mrs Bradford. I bought a Bradford G3 warnhi in m90 and they threw in a free shirt ! All very nice people.

I ended up grabbing way more than expected. Was torn between the GEC 48 in stag and the sfo from Charlie. Charlie won.

Also grabbed a ZT from kershawguy.

Lastly talked with Brad and his wife from Bradford knives. They are amazing. They make good knives, too. Aaaand I had to have one also. ;)

Very nice looking knives Robert k Im just wondering is that The Chestnut Covers on the Diamond Jack?

Some sort of jigged bone. I'll need to check the tube.

Edit. Still can't get to the tube without waking anyone but yes, they are, after checking Charlie's thread, that is the name.

Thank you very much. I was wondering because that's what I have reserved at one of the dealer's . It really looks cool.:D

You won't be dissatisfied! I believe Charlie had 5 or 6 out and aside from very minor variations in color, there didn't seem to be a lot of difference to my eye. All very beautiful. Such a cool pattern.

Just got back late last night from the show. Terrific show and I just didn't have time to see it all, but it was great. It was really nice seeing Charlie (Waynorth), Dave(Knowtracks), Lloyd (Luger), Rick (Old Bowie) and many other BF members whom I just don't have time to list. Also got to see Chris Tucker from GEC who I talk to all the time but only see in person at the show.

There was a simply fantastic antique Bowie Knife collection nearby that I looked at several times (Luger posted a photo of it). Just tons of cool stuff everywhere you looked that demanded your attention; o'course I spent most of the time I had at my table where GEC products were the hottest selling items.

I have a lot to do today, but when I get a little time I'll post some photos of my OKCA purchases; I spent way too much money but I consider it well spent! :D

I really needed about a week's time and substantially more money.

Thank you Barry for the update.
Looking forward to seeing your purchases- especially if they are anything like that very nice Case- can't see the pic too well - is that a 70's CV?

It is a 1970 ten dot with a very expensive 'spider web' on the reverse main rendering it "less-than-mint" to persnickety collectors. It is still a gorgeous knife and, without mentioning anyone by name, I'm very happy to have obtained it from a very generous dealer member here who happened to have the table next to me.

I was also able to obtain some very nice Case red bone examples of similar vintage from said dealer/member who shall remain nameless. They are now resting peacefully with their brethren after their long journey. :) ahhhh..... so pretty! :D:D:D:D
