OTF stuck open

Friend proudly opened her Boker OTF, and neither of us could retract the blade. Suggestions? (Usual thumb switch in reverse direction rendered nothing)
 
post over in the automatic forum.....you'll get faster responses.......

did ya pull blade out far as it could to see if it's off and to reset it, if it is? then try the switch again.
