We are excited to announce we are expanding our Tactical line at the Sword Buyers Guide. They have just released two of our newest swords that we will be producing for them. Exclusively offered at the SBG online store. Also Coming Soon… Professional reviewer Jason Woodard will be completing extreme durability tests on them. Below is one of the new designs.
Tactical Leaf Blade:
This is a fully functional tactical version of the ancient and effective cut and thrust Leaf blade short sword. Leaf blade shaped swords are one of the earliest types of blade - first made in bronze and then later iron. Used as a backup weapon by the ancient Greeks, Spartans and Celts. In the modern era where opponents do not fight with spears or shields and most conflicts occur in confined spaces such as home invasions, this sword has enough length to keep most other weapons at bay but is short enough to be used even if being wrestled. The classic design is perfectly balanced between cutting, thrusting and hacking.
Shop Details:
1095 High Carbon Spring Steel. Steel is Heat Hardened & quenched in oil. Heat Tempered @ 500 degrees for 2 hours, and letting it air cool.
Measurements:
Total Length = 23 "
Blade Length = 16 ¾ "
Blade Width = 3 ¼ "
Blade Thickness = 3/16 "
Handle Length = 6 ¼ "
Handle Width = 1 3/8 "
Handle: Micarta
Weight = 2.5 lb
POB = 4” from handle
