I'm thinking of purchasing a paragon heat treating oven, but am concerned about the accuracy of the temp control, especially over time .... do they need to be calibrated every so often. Your expiriences would be welcomed. Also what is a ''Pressure'' quench I have seen mentioned in a couple of post in the archives.
thanks in anticipation.

Yes all oven's need to be calibrated occasionally, When I did heat treat for a co. our ovens were calibrated evry 6 months by the company thta installed them, but we were supplying certified data.

Pressure quench? air pressure?
