Finally got to my Pop's place yesterday and picked up the stuff.
I am pretty much sharing it with you, keeping about 40 percent for myself.
I am leaving for camp Wednesday, 10/02, and on my way out of town I will drop your package off at the local U.S. Post Office (in the afternoon). It will come U.S. mail so set a trap for the mail man.
There is a mix of just plain old cherry, fine grain, and at least one small piece for one good knife that may have feather croch. All in all there is some real nice cherry in there for both of us. I think you'll like it and there is enough to keep both of us in kitchen knife making until we are tired of it. There are pieces suitable for both full tang and stick tang.
I hope not to be back or in touch with phone or computer until about 10/26 (bow and fall turkey season).
Sorry it took so long but at least its aged more now.
