Anyway, I LIKE yellow. Bright and cheery color.

Sure. For a tent.

I recall a gear reviewer's comment about being stuck in a green tent in crappy weather, "felt like I'd been swallowed by a frog". Similarly, spending several rainy days stuck in a red tent wouldn't be my choice. I'd probably start mumbling "RedRum" after a couple days

The old Mountain Hardwear and North Face tents had yellow rain flys for good reason.

Yellow as a photography backdrop though...
