Post Preview Removed from Email Notifications

What was the reason for removing the post preview from email notifications recently?

The only reason I really care, aside from being able to sort through posts without clicking on them, is that you can find price history in the sales posts after people delete the price after selling... which I'd argue should be against the rules/guidelines.

I assume it's some security type change but a bit of a bummer to kill all that sales price history going forward.

Haha, thanks, and sorry I did poke around a bit and didn't see anything.

Pretty ridiculous reason for the change but ... people are pretty ridiculous so also understandable. Anyway, if there's a list of arguments for changing it back, preserving price history is a decent one.

Preserving price history is irrelevant as it doesn't say what the price it sold for actually was, nor is it valid for current pricing.
