Fabulous. Thanks. A nice complimentary pair it seems.Absolutely. There is also a good thread someone wrote up about the 2. I will find it and come back and post it here.
The main differences are the flipper tab, blade shape is almost identical but the Orca has the finger choil and then the handle.
The tab on the orca is a little shorter and jimping starts on to as where the Imamba is a bit longer, has bigger jimping and only the side. They both flip well but I do like the Orcas little stronger detent and it also has a milled out landing pad for your finger and the Imamba does not. I’d give the Orca a win for the flipper.
For reverse flick I like the Imambas detent so it’s an overall toss up on action. Both drop shut without little help.
I prefer the no choil on the Imamba blade as it’s not something I’d ever need for how I use the knife. That being said if you like choils it’s deep and wide enough to secure your finger nicely. I have large hands and my forefinger fits no problem.
Finally the handles. Same length but I like the Imamba a lot more my hand. It’s a little leaner in hand and fits 4 fingers easily. The orca is a little wider and has some sharper corners but because it starts to curve in on the bottom I can’t fit all of my fingers very comfortably.
Orca has M390 which id rather have than RWL 34 on a knife this size but both are great steals and it just means I get to have fun stropping my Imamba a little more often ha.
Hope that helps
Hahaha. Love it. That dyed bone looks wicked!Picked up the Assegai pen. Of course with a cap in Kudo. Notice my “Mantra” for the week! It’s been my only mantra for a minute!View attachment 2879086
ETA: The pic of the CF Rinkhals is from before I sold it. I ran across it in my pics folder and is a great looking knife and just wanted to post it.

Gorgeous inlay slabs those.![]()
Beautiful folder! I have multiple AB's and they are absolutely a work of functional art.I don’t normally carry “large” folders, but the imamba scratches the itch. Definitely considering a skeleton hole and flipper delete model in the future.

Are you able to thumb roll the iMamba? I can't with my Orca 2Had to throw a little AB Kudo bead on a Sebenza to show dominance. View attachment 2881673Anyone want a Sebenza for an Imamba…. Hahaha
I can thumb roll, thumb flick, reverse flick, all the things. Are you able to thumb roll the iMamba? I can't with my Orca 2
Yeah I can with both. But it’s a little harder with the orcas detent. I have to make sure a finger isn’t putting weight right on the detentAre you able to thumb roll the iMamba? I can't with my Orca 2
