Been daily-carrying my Tamboti (Tambootie) wood inlayed L21 for the last couple months. These wood inlays are completely durable. No issue in normal use, at all.

That's Tamboti?? Wow that's dark, I'd have thought it was Blackwood or ebony.

It’s started out a lighter brown, but has darkened a lot over the years. It’s a very nice inlay. Glad I snagged it just before they discontinued it. Smelled nice as well. I believe Tamboti is in the sandalwood family. The knife had a perfume aroma for the first few months.
