I am lucky enough to own three. All were purchased or commissioned before they appeared in print. Terrill Hoffman gets most of the credit for two of them being published. Since I can't post photos, you can either go back though the Gallery postings (all have appeared there) or find them in the appropriate issue. They are:
1. The George Peck Award winning bowie by Russ Andrews that appears on page 43 of the November 2002 issue of Blade.
2. The mammoth ivory handled boot knife by Peter DelRaso that appears on page 108 of the January 2003 issue of Blade and on page 69 of the February issue of Knives Illustrated.(Hoffman photo)
3. The mammoth ivory handled bowie by Steve Filicietti that appears on page 109 of the January 2003 issue of Blade and on page 68 of the February issue of Knives Illustrated (bottom knife). (Hoffman photo) This knife also won the "Best Bowie Knife" award at the Australian Knifemakers Guild 2002 Knife Show.
I display the knives (along with the magazine articles) at all of the shows that I have a table. Careful fingering is allowed.
