Quality local blades in Osaka/Kobe Japan?

Anyone have experience with a trustworthy blade shop in Osaka/Kobe Japan? Looking to pick up basically the equivalent of an HI (not a ton of money, but some local style, culture and quality in an edge). My wife's got a fantastic opportunity to travel there, but would need to know of a quality shop where they won't steer her wrong as she's not the knife nut in the family.

Used to know a real good guy who threw spikes there for awhile...
