Question for TJT

This probably has nothing to do with Boker USA, but if you could provide any guidance or insight it would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that Henckels and Russell Green River Works slipjoints are both made on contract by Boker. I recently bought a Russell stockman on e-bay and the springs are so weak that I consider it defective. Can you tell me if Boker (assuming I am correct that they are the manufacturer) does warranty work on Russell knives? If so, could you advise me who to contact?

We did manufacture the Henckels, but don't do the warranty work.
I think they just do a replacement on them, but I'm not sure.
Usually when we do contract work for other companies, they are responsible for any warranty issues.
As for the Russell knives, we made a Barlow pattern for them, but no other pattern. For warranty, we don't know who to refer you to.
I will try to do a search, and let you know what I find.

Thank you Terry. If you even have just an address for Russell GRW that would be great. I've not been able to turn anything up on the internet or elsewhere.
