Quick muddy hike today !

Headed to one of my local parks today, man was it ever wet and muddy, but the colours this time of year are stunning.



I thought Rose looked big till this Airedale came along !



One bite and Snicker would be gone !



On or in my Proteus pack were gloves, buff, paracord, Buffallo systems wind proof smock, thermos full of coffee, Swampwarden knife , Coldsteel Bushman, maglite and last but not least dog treats !



Passed a cave that I've made fires and hot drinks in before.




Quite a nice little hike !

Every time I see one of your trip reports, I think of the wonderful mushroom hunting there.:thumbup:
 
Anyone heard from Pitdog? Was looking for one of his old threads and noticed he hasn't logged on in over a year. I know he had some serious health issues going on.
