So if the future of warfare is AI drones, remotely controlled weapons, etc, which essentially eliminates battlefield casualties (once everyone catches up), then how do you "win"?
Both sides can claim victory on social media...or whichever one still has working access. Nobody will know the difference anyway, sort of like it is now.

the only way for anyone to win in this futuristic scenario is for them to be a technocrat. The rest of us will just be protein.
 
I like the idea of wars fought between robots where kids that don't know each other don't have to fight to the death because someone told them to.
you forgot how much money is at stake....

I'm convinced war and mass casualty events have repercussions in far more places than just the physical realm we inhabit with each other. ALMOST like it's some sort of ritualistic sacrifice or something.
