If it puts additional money in Nathan and Jo's pockets, I'm less inclined to react. (But I saw the referenced activity.)

We'll keep a weather eye on the ne'er-do-well.

I'm just a bit jealous, (and conflicted), by dint of my own absence on the list. But...so it goes.

I'm absent also while the dust settles from this trip and my daughter's increased tuition.
My "big-brain" plan, since there are no special options in the preorder, is to grab the first one in a Friday sale (and beg Jo for the scales I prefer). The flaw is that I expect them to be priced higher than the preorder...

Imagine a series of giant columns holding a building up (my will power)........

Then imagine an old lady in a station wagon slamming into the columns one at a time and destroying them (the old lady in the station wagon is beer....)

When I woke up after a short nap and peeled my face off of my keyboard......

Worry about the knife acquisition per your original plan.
 
Kukris are addictive...

This one is kept in my garage with some saws, axes, hatchets and such. It measures ten inches on the diagonal from tip to bolster.

Back in the day when I was still active on the Himalayan Imports sub-forum, (R.I.P. "Uncle Bill"), I accumulated several as seen below.
I've given a few away and kept the rest in a steamer trunk in the storage area. They are a lot of fun.

No doubt Nathan's version will put them all to shame, but it felt good to support the work of the Kamis in Nepal who built them, each with their own style and signature grinds.

But also went against there rules that they had set up. The person that did this should be banned from this sub form imho.

It had already been addressed by another moderator. I'm not inclined to override my colleagues once they've made a determination, one way or another unless they ask for a consult. Anyway, it's a lot less heinous than you assume, once you're aware of the facts, which I don't believe you are. This is not the place to hash it out.

So, let's just move along.
