I couldn’t resist messing with the beautiful silver titanium.

The lockside is intentionally done a bit lighter for some variety, and I ano’d everything on this knife except for the body and pivot screws, which were already blue.

Would kill to have this bad boy back… Bought it off the Bay in the early days of my collecting, and didn’t realize it was a gem.

Acid wash, opening hole, and lighting anodized backspacer, inlay, and clip.



Also very nice, but it didn’t hold a candle to my Torrent. The action was nice (reminded me of a WE), but the Torrent is perfect.

Sometimes when I Really like a specific model (JACK original), I'll buy 2 (or 5) and mod. one (or 3) of them.

Top: Stock w/brass scales & flamed ti. frame.
2nd from top: Stock w/cf scales and blue ti. frame.
Center: Damasteel blade w/brushed brass scales and stock bronze frame & polished hardware.
2nd from bottom: Stock cf scales w/high polished ti, frame & polished hardware (Skiff bearings on this one).
Bottom: Polished brass scales w/ distressed ti. frame & polished hardware.

First Reate, bought this one at BladeShow West in Salt Lake on Friday. I've got a couple other knives made by Reate, the mini-Glimpse and the Chaves Redencion, but this is the first in-house Reate knife I've got. Love it! Currently looking for a New Torrent now.
