I had short hair all my life until I got out of the Air Force, and haven't had a hair cut since. I have a very thick heavy soft full head of hair, the girls love it. It's just past shoulder length now. My beard, I noticed this week, has started to significantly gray. Both of my grandpas still have full thick heads of hair but my grandpa on my dad's side, first generation Norwegian, went gray at 25 and completely white by 35. Ah well... I guess I'd rather go gray than bald.

Shave your head. Use the Venus razor that women use for legs and such... it's made to hug curves and not carve flesh.

Makes life real easy.... no bad hair days, no playground for lice or silverfish, no figuring out how much to tip the hairdo artiste'.... You won't go back.

Take the money you spend on haircuts/hair products and join a gym. Go Vin Diesel, bro.

Sorry, I tend to over do it at times, well all the time and was not intending to go out of my way hurt you in some way as much as playing off the subject of Hair Loss.

I know we are all different here and what is important to one may not be as important to another.

With some of the crap that I've seen or has happened in life that I would never bring up in a public forum, Hair loss or color isn't a serious issue in what life can and does throw at us.

As far as the receeding hairline goes, less hair to shampoo = more face to wash.

My hairline is receeding a bit (I'm 48.) But I've been going gray since I was in my late teens. I refure to color my hair - If I make it angry, it may decide to leave.

My hair stylist recommended "Nexium." I've also heard good things about "Kevis."
