cool, that looks like a decent stabby one.

i shall try mine on the first riveted* mail clad attacker i encounter after it's arrival - with a backup if it fails. i have a nice stick with a 2.5 in. steel ball head that would do.

*-cheaper butted mail is too easy.

p.s. - a bit of googling on katars shows a lot of images, some with the x-verse bars connected, some not, about even. the 'new one does seen to have a larger diameter sleeve in the centre of the bars, hopefully not covering a gap in the central bar. beware ones cast iron or steel. the blades of the good ones were tabbed, inserted into slots in the grip and hammer welded, then ground & decorated, i can see this in my rapier bladed one, the welds of the inserted carrier are there, and checkered over on the inside. the two bars have their central swellings touching but not connected, and you can see where the bars penetrated the side bars and were hammer welded, then decorated over. they swell slightly as they touch the sides, the stub going thru the side bars is a bit narrower and then hammered over/peened.

Going for the "race gun" look and tried to have the bolt carrier group look continuous with the barrel underneath a black chassis theme.

Looks great. I'm smitten with the side charger and its all on you buddy. Gotta get one some day.

Davidf99, that looks like a good honest workman's type blade. Not as fancy as Kron's but looks like it will punch right through anything but heavy mail and maybe even that with that re-enforced tip.

Kron, another gorgeous example of why so many of us envy your collection. Superb!!

christcl that is a nice clean setup. I really like the way the barrel looks. What you planning for the rest of it??

Bawanna, Better be soon or they may not be legal by then (or any AR type items). Depends what happens in November, Some people seem to think criminals will follow laws about guns even though they plan to break laws about killing folks and such...

paint it pink and put a hello kitty sticker on the buttstock so you don't scare the sheeple.

Final pieces are here so its ready for me to put together this weekend.

I asked if my wife wanted the Hello Kitty One, she said she wants a stealth gray colored one. Shes a keeper.

Sad when ebay can rule the world.

They just wouldn't send it to you over across the pond or anywhere.

Have it sent to me and I'll mail it to you if you want.

EBay been getting bitchier and bitchier about mailing "weapons" across country borders. I think they are preparing for the UN supported NWO take over and don't want "weapons" scattered to where they have just about eliminated the ability of the citizenry to defend themselves. They probably don't realize how flagrantly you are ruining that Kron. Or maybe they already know and have you "accounted for".

We should learn from the history of China near the end of the Yuan dynasty. In those days when the Mongols ruled China they passed many laws which allowed only 1 out of every 10 Han households to even own a knife. This is part of the story of the Autumn Festival that just ended and the history of Mooncakes enabling a rebellion :) But will American's figure out that is what the NWO has planned for them? Total disarmament based on the UN's small arms treaties, just like the rest of the folks who have already given away their right to self defense.

we will soon have a community knife chained (max 3 feet long chain) to the pump handle of the well in the common square. it will of course have no point, be under three inches of blade, and made of florescent orange plastic. all others will of course be melted down. hereditary socialist democrat party members of the hereditary world government will of course be exempt and may have knives for their republican servants to use in their liberal palaces. all hail the clinton dynasty, may they last a thousand years. all hail the empress, tsar of all nations.

all peons are reminded that any metal farming tools, including the scissors used to trim democrats lawns, must be returned to the central lockup prior to the end of the working day at 21:00 and may not be signed out until the start of your working day at 05:00. all republicans must have their yellow triangle patches clearly visible and have their identity papers and tool permits for display to the imperial warden, and your microchip will be scanned. please have you bribes ready as you reach the dispersal grill.

Here's an odd one. My buddy Newt Livesay found a case of these while cleaning up his shop. He said he'd made them about twenty years ago. I need to sharpen, harden the tines, clean it up and find the proper pole or make one up. So here you have it, an alligator gig for those crazy enough to do such a thing.

Way cool, he done a really nice job on those. Whole case huh? Zombie frog attack or bulk sales?

He used to sell them to those so inclined to use them. Kind of a nitch market, I guess it dried up or the alligators pervailed.

aren't the aggilators a regulated species now? they were on the endangered list for a while, which may have killed the nitch, but you can hunt them again with the proper permits i hear. seem to recall a nice redneck allygator hunting show on natgeo or aminal plannit channels.

Still a show over here Swamp Men or something like that where they hunt them. Got so many tags they can fill, I think based on how many they got the year before.
Used to watch it quite a bit, not so much lately.

yup, that's the one.watched ot once or twice, got bored. not much of a spectator sport. bit like fishing shows. 45 minutes of lost baits, thrown hooks and if you are lucky a minute or two of actually landing something. occasionally the fisherman gets et by a shark if you are lucky. some hollywoodland producer wanted to pay me big bucks to film someone fishing for moat monsters. so i introduced him to them. afterwards they said he didn't taste too good.

I've heard that hollywoodland producers taste a bit like pigeon. Might have been the moat monsters what told me that on my lst visit. Never ate one myself, I abstain from most things California.
