First up is a brand new Basic 11: New, Unused, As-received from Busse in cardboard sheath. Black blade / Black Res_C handle (super comfy Chopper!). I purchased two of these, and finances are forcing me to keep the Sage and pass on the Black to a fellow member.

Brand new Desert Storm Stealth Fighter: New, Unused, As-received from Busse in cardboard sheath. Black blade / Black G-10 handle and sterile (no markings). I have dubbed these the “Stealth Monkey”, as they are the same blade profile as the Desert Storm Terror Monkey…with a twist on color / handle material. The G-10 handles turned out superb...much smoother than I originally expected, with excellent grip properties.

Brand new BOSS JACK, Unused, As-received from Busse in cardboard sheath. Flawless Satin Blade, fully Convexed and No Fuller; Red-Black G-10 handle with Large Choil, marked BUSSE / PROTO. This is an absolutely beautiful knife and the Red-Black handles really pop in the light. The G-10 handles turned out superb with the partial smooth / partial cut...much smoother than I originally expected, with excellent grip properties.

Forgive my ignorance, but why is the Boss Jack marked PROTO? Is the blade the same thickness/shape as the "production" version?

EDIT: I should explain my question. I'm getting a sheath for a CG Boss Jack, and I'm wondering if this blade will fit correctly in the same sheath.

PROTO because that's what Jerry stamped on it Honestly, I believe it is because they are the same blank...and it has not yet been released to the store via production. I cannot confirm that theory, however.

Feed...I believe your sheath will be fine, but cannot find the thread where I thought someone validated it by inserting a convexed Proto into a CG sheath.
