Does anyone have some good ideas about refinishing a leather stack handle? Its a buddy's knife so I want to do a good job on it. It is definitely faded and warn.

I was thinking mink oil and a clean buffing job, but would be open to suggestions. Thanks in advance for the help.

Get all the sanding and smoothing operation done perfectly, then apply saddle soap and water and hand burnish with a piece of cloth, let dry and then a light to moderate coat of Pure Neatsfoot Oil. Let that set up for a day or so and then seal with Feibing's TanKote or similar product. It is practically the same operation as finishing the edges on a sheath.
