Removing the coating from a BK2

It's probably been posted but I couldnt find it. Whats the easiest way to remove the coating from a BK2?

CitriStrip, or similar, found in the paint section of your nearest walmart, home depot, etc

Also, while there's nothing wrong with using this subforum (they are currently Kabar, after all), there is a separate section for the Becker (BK) line:
