Rennie Raines is a crook. I purchased a MD EOD that was advertised at:

He never sent it to me and has cashed my money order.
I sent a postal M.O. to Raines last November. I emailed him to confirm he got it. He told me he received it and was sending the knife that day. A couple of weeks latter, the EOD does not show up and I emailed him to inquire if it had been sent. He claims to have problems cashing the M.O. So we decide to put it on my credit card and I get a refund for the M.O. I got the refund for the M.O. without difficulty. Raines told me he was shipping the knife that day after we got the credit card payment arranged. I think it required 3 tries before he claimed he got it to work? A few months latter no changes appeared on my credit card and no knife showed up. I emailed Raines again to see what is going on, he claimed his credit card account was frozen the day we got the credit card payment arranged.
Well one more time, I sent an International Money order. He cashed this one without any difficulties. Again he promised to send the knife but nothing showed a week latter. Raines claimed the postal service had returned the package to him. It had not even left the USA (not a Canada Customs problem). Last I spoke to him Raines claimed the knife was on its way (2nd time he sent it so he claims). That was the last time I have been able to speak to him. I have tried contacting him with his multiple email addresses and phone numbers and have had no success.
Finally fed up, I filled out the USP mail fraud form and sent it in. It appears he as a record of ripping people off from the Emerson forums. I did not find this out until the global search feature was introduced with the new Bladeforums software.
