I absolutely hate the band that came on my triple sensor. anybody got an alternative to this nag? I really like the watch but don't wear it because of the band. Thanks in advance!!!! Doug

A great alternative is the "NATO" watch band, which is a nylon fabric-feeling band that you loop through the spring bars. You'll see it on some military-issue and styled watches, like this British one

they're very good in securing the watch to your wrist, without being too binding. And you don't have to remove the pins, the spring bars, to put the band on. I've gotten mine wet, a lot, and it dries quickly and evenly, unlike some leather or plastic bands, where the underside of the band never quite dries out

They're a little hard to find--I didn't see any on eBay currently--but I could dig up a link or two of some guys who have sold them in the past.

You could also try this link page:

That has a few band sellers that should give you an idea of what is out there.

Hope this helps,

John

I hated mine, too, and I replaced it with a watch band called SHARK LEASH.It's a velcro watchband, but of a radically different design than other velcro watchbands I've seen; and it works much better. It's a bit difficult to describe, but I'll try: On one side is a a double-faced "female" velcro strap, and on the other side is a V-shaped strap lined on the inside of the V with "male" velcro. This watchstrap is both more adjustable and more secure than other velcro straps. They're very comfortable, too. (Though, I still choose to wear my watch on my belt.) They are available at surf shops.
