Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere guys, but is there any definitive list of the hardnesses we can expect Buck blades to be? I have an assortment of Buck knives and they have become my "benchmark" for judging others by. So often I'll see manufacturers stating the Rc hardness of the blade steel, but cannot find any info on the Buck blades I know and love to make an informed comparison by.

On Buck's website.

"This tempering process toughens the steel and brings 420HC blades to 58 on the Rockwell scale, the preferred hardness for edge holding. ATS-34, BG-42 and S30V blades can be hardened to Rc 59.5-61."
