hey fellas, here is the most recent chopper I finished up, I forged it down from some 1" 5160 round stock.

This is a rough, rugged and very solid chopper. The blade has a forged finish and rounded spine with a fine polished scotch bright finish on the rest of the blade.

The scales are some really curly hickory, i brought the curl out with acid then finished to 800 grit and many coats of Formby's finishing oil. There are 3 hollow copper pins as well as marine grade epoxy holding the scales on.

The knife is 15 1/8" overall and has 9 1/2'' of cutting edge. The spine is a strong 1/4'' with a slight forged in taper to the blade, and just a lil taper in the tang to make a really heavy duty tool, that still feels good in hand. This one does also have my makers mark on the ricasso as well.

Price is $275 with a heavy duty, handsewn sheath.
Sheath is available in left or right handed and color of your choice.

Paypal, money order , and check accepted
