Thanks! I thoght it was black palm myself when i purchased it but turns out its wenge!

Wow! Ok then... I would Not have guessed that. I am used to Wenge being more dark brown/Chestnut and black and much less "orange".

an earlier attempt with padauk. Was not happy with both rear screw holes. I wish i could get some pan head screws like my carbon fiber for the wood scales. It would make it easier and look better imo

These Roundheads, without a doubt, make for some incredibly picturesque knives.

So i looked at some more examples of wenge today in my local shop and your right. Most of it is brown/black but a very few pcs have the orange tint like mine. Didnt notice it the first time around!

These knives are great. Got mine today. Worked the edge just a bit.Opens and closes soooo smooth.
Might be a new favorite.
