Last couple days I spent a few hours going through my stash of Khukris. Put Ballistol on the handles and went with Dulite Qwik Seal for the metal this time. I like to handle them frequently but once in awhile just make sure I look at every one. Check for signs of rust dried handles etc. All was well (I'm happy). Some handles were thirsty for oil but no rust even on the few users.
The main take away was the reminder of how much I like Thamar's work, hands down favorites. My Trisuli Ghaule is still a real favorite along with the worlds finest Curved Spine. I'm sure or at least hope Bookie will be along shortly to dispute this claim.
It was really enjoyable to play? with each one. Still have a few that are harder to get to, up high etc. I'll be getting after those also with a little help from the missus.
