Wow!

Just received a modified Model 3 a short while ago from Ron.

Fit and finish are as near perfect as you can get. The leather sheath is a work of art.

This is my first knife from Ron but it won't be my last. His workmanship is first rate, prices are fair and you won't wait a long time to get the product. I strongly encourage anyone who has admired his knives but is hesitating to make the comittment and place an order now.

Specs:

OAL: 7.25"
Blade Length: 3.375"
Blade Metallurgy: ATS-34
Handle: Stablized Ironwood with Red Liner, dovetailed stainless bolsters and Mosaic Pins

Yep, Ron is making some of the nicest knives out there in my humble opinion. This one is particularly nice. The handle looks grey in the picture. Is that just the picture or did stabilizing the wood change the color that much?

KWM:

I agree with your comment about Ron's knives.

The bolsters are stainless and have a satin finish but the ironwood handle is deep rich brown. Ron chose some especially well marked ironwood. The silver/gray tone is my poor photographic skill. I'm gradually getting motivated to make a light box so I can produce some decent photographs.
