S30v heat treat

Was curious about that, when I took the tour I didn't see any heat treating facilities.
And I also have never had a HT issue from BM.

OP, Not sure if you saw this specific set of tests, but here are 4 benchmades which I discovered in a growing batch of 153 tests "(05/23/19) by watching bladebanter and lovethemknives on the tubes:

Wow! Some of those hardness findings are way off what is advertised. How would you like to buy a blade rated at 63 Rc and find it's really 56 Rc. Or a blade advertised at 60 Rc that's really 53 Rc.

LA Police Gear has a knife with a hardness of 51.2 Rc. Lot of soft blades out there.

In actual use, I've never had a problem with Benchmade, other than a little microchipping on early S30V, which was a problem lots of makers experienced.
