Photos Schrade 861 age

Hi, first time subscriber, long time knife enthusiast. I just picked up a Schrade 861(mostly because it was the exact knife my Grandpa carried) and based on some of the discussions I've read on here, I would date this knife at 1946 to 1959. Probably the later years for the following:
1) tang stamp
2) no swindon keys
3) handle seems synthetic
I can't seem to upload images on here.
Can someone tell me if I'm way of base here or if I can narrow it down further?

There are clues that Schrade specialists (which I am not) can use to narrow it down sometimes but their use of the same tang stamp over a broad range of years makes it difficult.
It would be worth the time to figure out how to post pics and head over to the traditionals thread.
