great demand in the collector's market. The knives from the 49ers line,
which were actually named that because of the model numbers they were given,
were sold separately, and it is extremely rare to find a display that still
exists which includes three of these knives. There were actually 4
different models in the 49ers series. The following is a list of each of
them, the years they were manufactured and their last suggested retail
value, when they were discontinued.

Judging from the knives that you have, your display would have been
manufactured sometime from 1973 until 1975, but what is puzzling is that all
four of the knives from the 49ers line were manufactured during those years,
and only three of them were included in your set.
