Hi everyone
Couple of weeks ago i posted very similar knife. It was almost the same only the handle was black ebony. If i make long story short, so on original knife appeared crack in hande. Not too big but not small either. After surviving various heart atacks i was thinking for some time if i try to repair it somehow or smash the handle with the hammer. After some sleepless nights i decided for "hammer time" option and i told it in random small talk to another person. And he asked me if i can repair the knife for him and make another one for original client. I explained him that even if i repair it best way i can, there wil be slightly visible scar. But he insisted he wants it and told me that with the scar it has more soul and that he will have knife with the story
well after some consideration and negotiation with original client i agreed. I manage to repair the crack by "stabilising" the finished handle with epoxy glue in vacuum. And I made "copy" of the knife for the original client and here it comes. We talked about the wood choice and in the end we decided for Arizona ironwood .. So in the end it is a redhead
So , i hope you will like it and also i hope that this would not happen to me once again in a very long time !
ok see you soon with another knife .. bb Petr
