Sharpmaker for Recurve?

Straight forward question, is the Spyderco Sharpmaker good for use on a heavy recurve like the Kershaw Bump? I currently have a Lansky blade clamp system which does not work too well for recurve and I have been hearing that the Sharpmaker is the sharpener to have. What do you think?

If it works for the small reverse-s blades like the Dodo and Cricket, I can't see where it would have a problem with the Bump. Stick to using the corners and you should be fine.
