I strongly prefer leather sheaths, at least on the exterior, to Kydex®. At the same time, for my non-stainless steel knives, I believe that Morseth's installing a non-leather liner that protects the knife from acids (and moisture??) is worthwhile for me to pursue. And Morseth's method of retainer strap avoids having the knife's edge from inadvertently slicing the strap. So excepting unattractive, time consuming hand lacing, Morseth's sheaths would suit me. . . . Well, that ain't gonna happen.
I seek leather sheaths with features I mention. Any maker who is interested, please note that how the features be included are very flexible as far as I'm concerned. It's the result that's important. How we get there, . . . not so much.
