I have a endura 4 lone wolf tool model that Ive had for many years. It has lost that "snap" when locking and there some side to side movement when lightly pushed developing when blade is out. I can see a gap develop when I lightly push on the back of the blade when locked out. I called Spyderco and the rep said they dont do any work unless its a manufacturer defect other than sending it in to sharpen. Ive retired this endura for now but would like to tighten this one up. What should I do?

You need to send it and let them look at it.

if it isnt safe anymore retire it from use......

They wouldn’t even offer to refurbish it? That’s disconcerting. I recently bought an endura delica pair all blacked out with saber grind and was digging em but that’s not very good customer service. I snapped off a triage blade while on duty prying a door fragment off at a wreck and told benchmade it was completely my fault and they insisted free replacement after I just asked to fix it with new blade price! That’s customer service
