All those 707/705/710's...my god man. Impressive to say the least. How long have you been stacking Benchmade?

I bought my first one right around the same time I joined here, so roughly 2 years. I got a little carried away. Bad part is, my Benchmade collection was twice that size about a year ago.

I have only been collecting for about 2 years at the most, so my collect is meager compared to most people on here.

My grandfather died when I was 14, he lived 4 houses from me so I was really close with him. I have a box of items my Dad gave me then, that was roughly 24 years ago. These 2 knives are still in that box in the safe, maybe I ought to send them off to someone to be cleaned up. (anyone know of someone who re-conditions knives shoot me a PM)

Sir... RESPECT!

Hello, long time reader, finally made an account! Here is my collection, in order of when I got them. It all started when I was in 6th grade and my friend gave me a bright yellow Frosts Mora for my birthday. I bought the sprint run purple Dragonfly for my wife! I bought myself the model 42 in 1999 from Knifezilla, my first expensive knife. Though back then it was only 120 bucks.

I'm off to a good start. :)

Is it normal to still be lusting for a half dozen or so additional knives at any particular time?

My collection grew by about two-thirds in the last year. I was very fortunate to have some disposable income to throw around, but that's pretty much dried up. I anticipate family circumstances will make 2018 & 2019 very lean financially, so I have to be super selective now.

scottabrandeberry scottabrandeberry That is awesome! Even though I wish they were lighter and thinner behind the edge, somehow ZT's spend an inordinate amount of time in my pocket!

Out of all those gorgeous 0392's which is your favorite and why?

If I could pick one of your knives for myself, it would definately be the 0606 Black. Where would you rate that in the hierarchy of your collection?

image.jpg I dont keep many. The deadlock i bought has not arrived yet or it would look much better. Ive sold off 75% of my knives and gave away another 10%. These are what i kept for one reason or another. Kinda funny the most legal knife for edc just happens to be the one that is the most aggressive looking.

Who makes the Bali's?

I really like my user 0392BLKGRN; it's a great color combination, and it's gotten even smoother because it's well broken in now. I love the Bowie blade shape, but I haven't carried one of them yet.

The 0606BLK is right up there on the favorite list for me; I am a huge fan of RJ Martin designs, and I really enjoy all of the rare and hard-to-find models.

This is my current folder collection. The 940-2 I just got today which brings my folders up to five. I prefer to only have four, but the Ritter Mini Grip would be the one to go. Since it was a gift I don't feel like parting with it right now, so five it is. I also own two fixed blades--Mora Companion and Esee 4.

From top to bottom:

1. Southern Grind Spider Monkey - Off Work EDC
2. Benchmade Griptilian (Custom) - Duty EDC
3. Benchmade Mini Griptilian (Ritter) - Back Up and Small Option Carry if needed for legal reasons
4. Benchmade 940-2 - Nice Clothes Carry
5. Spyderco Pacific Salt - Beach/Kayaking/Boating Carry
