That’s a lot of blades for a single camping trip…;^)
I am currently in a place where camping/hiking/going into any REAL nature is a rare and delightful treat for me, so last time I had the opportunity to do so, I did not hesitate to bring various blades with me to try them out and have with me. I believe in total, I brought... a Benchmade 200 (that is their puukko in 3V), a Buck 119, an Ontario SP-1, a CruCarta PM2, a Leatherman Wave and my Swiss Army Knife. That's six knives, haha. I just think that not only are knives (especially mine) quite fun to use, doing things like this lets me learn more about what is good and bad in a knife, what I like and don't like, and for what purposes... that kind of thing. :)

So it goes far beyond "Oh, just throw my Mora and a SAK in there, that's all I need" because I know that is all I truly would NEED. But I want to find out what I like, what works best, and just enjoy using knives.

The one thing I did NOT bring, that I should have brought and I was very close to bringing was my Tramontina machete.

Blast from the past 😎 Haven’t seen one of those in a while.

I always wondered what happened with his business, he made a lot of those and they would instantly on this forum! I’ve seen others in recent years ask about how to contact him so I’m guessing he didn’t just simply move to other social media platforms, no one seems to know.
