Show what you did with your EDC today.

For the time being, I have switched from the Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter to a Gerber Strongarm because sometimes a fixed blade is really better and the Strongarm makes a dandy neck knife--I prefer not to wear a belt when the heat index is over 110F because the belt will get soaked. Today, the Strongarm scraped wet hay out of a bunk feeder, drilled drainage holes in said bunk feeder, cut some baling twine (of course), and opened a package from ebay that was completely smothered in at least 10 layers of tape. Didn't get any good photos, so I took a selfie indoors tonight while uncharacteristically wearing a shirt--don't want to have to add a trigger warning about "half-naked old fart."

Used my Victorinox Spartan a lot past few days.
The other day I made lunch with it. Cleaned and sliced some leek

Added some butter

Checked to see if eggs are ready

Made a salad and the dressing - cleaned the garlic and olives.

Then last night it cleaned and sliced 55-60 pound of tomatoes for canning.

Dude, if you fall out of your canue you'll sink straight to the bottom.

Cut down some cardinal vine, which is like kudzu only prettier and much worse. I actually cut about 20 times as much as shown in this photo, but the sheep had eaten most of the rest before I got around to taking a photo. You have to cut it, because it wraps around the branches, so if you pull it off, you pull off most of the leaves of the plant you are trying to save.

Sure made a mess.

The knife does not actually look that bad. The blade was still shiny, but the camera in my Samsung Galaxy 23 is easily confused.
