Show Your Patina, Forced, Earned, or Accidental

Here are a couple of my favorite patinaed knives.

Earned patinas:

I was going to start another thread, but maybe I can just ask here. I have a GEC with a patina I'm trying to sell and I'm trying to decide whether to Flitz it off, which may remove the Northfield etch on the blade, or leave it on. I haven't had a lot of interest so I'm thinking a bright shiny blade might be more appealing to a potential buyer (shiny = new / patina = used).

Thoughts or opinions?

Starting over with my Coppersmith. Patina was coming along nicely, then realized I had a nearly complete fingerprint taking over on one bolster. It bugged me, so I took it to the polishing wheel. Ironically, I'm pretty sure these have stainless blades. [emoji2]
