SiC Stone Flattening

Does a piece of glass with SiC powder or a SiC lapping stone work better on SiC stones specifically the Baryonyx Manticore and the Gritomatic SiC stones

I use a piece of glass and SiC powder to do my edge pro size sic stones. Works well. But unsure which would be faster for a larger bench stone.

I use a 30/60 mix of SiC grit and it works fine for the Manticore.

I flatten on a tile, but plan on upgrading to glass soon. I think it is easier and more precise. A bit more a PITA perhaps.

Loose grit on glass will work just dandy.
