I just wanted to drop a quick note and let people know that Simply Survival has a few openings left in two of its summer classes.

Wilderness Survival: July 21 - 27, 01
Advanced Navigation Skills: August 16 - 19, 01

Thanks for the note Greg. If anyone out there wants to learn a lot of information in a short amount of time, these classes would most certainly be the way to go.

Greg was a certified SERE Instructor and taught survival skills in the U.S. Airforce for many years. His book, "Wilderness Survival" is quickly becoming a standard on the subject. If you have yet to obtain a copy, I would advise that you do so at your earliest convenience.

Greg is one of the best in the business and his book is great. And, if you want to read the best crash course on wilderness navigation around, just his chapter on that subject alone is worth many times the price of his book.
