Having a nice matte finish all over, this 3 1/2" Jack is exquisitely detailed! It has integral bolsters, rarely seen on production knives!! The precisely-machined long pull has edges just softened enough so they don't tear your fingernail! The walk and talk, with the half stop I love, is healthy and firm! A nice leaf-shaped Spear blade in D-2, and what looks like a Case-hardened shield (not pinned)! The blade is ground thin and sharp!! A slicer!!
The knife feels good in hand and pocket, edges softened, and tang not too obtrusive!! What a delightful Jack!!
Icing on the cake, it was a gift!! Thanks Barry!!gunstockjack !!! I gotta find out more about this company!!!
Can you show us the pile side, Dave??
Thanks, Dave!!Sure thing, Charlie! Here are a few more shots with Callie the pup looking on admiringly.
